I am greatly saddened by the loss of John Johnson. While John and I worked
together on various projects during my time at Eastman House, I found him to
be an extremely professional, very competent, and exceedingly pleasant
colleague. Good moving image media cataloguers are a special breed apart,
born rather than made, and John was among the best.
My heartfelt condolences go out to John's family and to the staff of the Film
Department at the Museum of Modern Art.
