Re: [AMIA-L] Digital Archiving
Kodak dealers offers digital transfer services for photos, slides, film,
and video:

You should consider your digital copies as copies to share or conveniently
work with. But do NOT discard the originals. After restoring and copying
the originals, store them properly (cool, dry and vented, with no
contaminants that may cause degradation) :

Subject: [AMIA-L] Digital Archiving
Greetings to All!
I have years of stored photos, slides, film and vhs in my home and want
to archive them in a digital format.
Please advise what educational services/ centers/ courses are available
in the Brooklyn/ New York City area where I may be instructed (
specific to my requirement ) in this technology.
Regards,
Phil Nelson
