Re: [AMIA-L] JASPER JOHNS INTERVIEW

Title: Message
Suggest you try (a) the BBC(!) who might just have a disk transcription of it in their library if you can find some friendly soul to help you get it, and/or (b) the Sound section of the British Library.

Importance: Low

Greetings All,

I am posting this for an ARLIS colleague.  You can respond directly to Ann.

Thanks,

Alison

In preparation for an exhibition on Jasper Johns, we need to locate an audio tape of an interview that David Sylvester did with Jasper Johns at Edisto Beach, SC, in spring 1965.  It was broadcast by the BBC Third Programme on October 10, 1965.  Please let me know if any of you have knowledge of the

availability or location of such an audio tape.
