I don't mind the 'jewelry' aspect of using
faded educational prints, but especially after attending the session on analysis of home movie selling on ebay at AMIA this year, I am disturbed at the second link Lisa showed of this seller, which states: "You'll get 6 pieces of VINTAGE Home Movie Film...each 9" long X 5/16" Wide (8 mm) ~ Came from a canister that was marked "4th of July at Cottage 1960." Chopping up unique material is a different matter. Margie CommonTouch wrote: I don't see a problem either, although I was dismayed by the copy mentioning " those educational films from health class". How likely is it that the microfilms are unique? But instead of purses, I'd love to see window shades.
