[AMIA-L] TSA Certified Cargo Screening Program

I saw this on the ACUMG list (Association of College and University Museums and Galleries). Didn't know how this might affect AMIA people. The poster is the director of a University's museums. I checked to see what supporting information I could find. See
http://www.alliance-air.com/files/TSA_Certified_Cargo_Screening_Program%5B1%5D.pdf  It does have a section about who might qualify as a CCSF.

Museum shippers

If you ship artifacts on passenger airlines you might like to know about this.

The TSA is instituting inspections of all freight carried on passenger airlines very soon. I just got a message from Masterpiece International, our shipper, about this program.  It is called TSA Certified Cargo Screening Program.
If you meet certain qualifications you can become a Certified Cargo Screening Facility and bypass the log jam at the airport.
I have emailed CCSP@xxxxxxx for our application.

Do not email me back as I know no more than what I have posted above.
