The first sentence is nonsense, the second pretentious, the third
presumptuous. Mari didn't specify the kind of bookbinding in which she is
interested. Her address suggests she may be a college student--how much younge
r need she be? And perhaps she is fortysomething, an accomplished pianist
with terrific finger dexterity.
She could prepare by self-study; her own idea of serving an apprenticeship is
an intelligent way to master her skills.
