Timothy---Are you planning to use traditional canvas or the more modern
synthetics? If the canvas, I would expect some bulky turn-ins which might
not be so apparent on a folio-size book but would be unsightly on an octavo
or even a quarto. What about backing? If the canvas is stiff enough you
might not need to do this; the synthetics may need to be backed using a
heat-set adhesive.
