[BKARTS] Finer Points in Letterpress Typography

Archetype Press offers several community outreach letterpress classes 
from its new location at Art Center’s South Campus at 950 S. Raymond 
Avenue in Pasadena. These are offered through Art Center College of 
Design’s Art Center at Night. This semester I am teaching two courses, 
Digital Letterpress, and Finer Points in Letterpress Typography.

Scheduled again for the Spring semester is Finer Points in Letterpress 
Typography. Finer Points will be held Tuesday nights from 7:00 pm to 
10:00 pm. The course runs for fourteen weeks, January 18 to April 19.

Archetype Press houses Los Angeles typographer Vernon Simpson’s 
considerable collection of metal type. Ten Vandercooks are available for 
student use.

Enrollment is limited to ten students. Registration for the Spring 
semester begins November 29.
