This is prehaps a stranger request than usual...can anyone direct me to online pictures that show book conservation in practice? I would very much like to see book conservation "in pictures" of procedures and also studio photographs or even book conservators' blogs/websites etc... I found this http://www.muckross-house.ie/bookbinding/book_cons6.htmhowever I am after the day-to-day life of a book or *paper* conservation studio/laboratory - prefably the content containing tutorials of the processes/procedures of paper/book conservation.... I checked http://www.philobiblon.com/tutorials.htm although very helpful in bookbinding documentation (with some helpful info of Peter's http://www.philobiblon.com/gbwarticle/gbwjournalarticle.htm ) I am after more photos/text of paper/book conservation methods... Any help will be very much appreciated! regards, Paul p.s. I think http://palimpsest.stanford.edu/don/don.html is a valuable information source, but I also believe it would be a stunning educational resouce with photographs and/or an interactive periodic table!......
