Re: [BKARTS] bindery pests / insects
I have learned that when the spiders appear, it is a sign that
silverfish are lurking, a common book , paste and paper pest (also
spiders seems to eat them in total, so there are no signs in the
webs). To keep things in control, I put eucalyptus oil in my
cleaning fluids (bugs hate it) and sprinkle boric acid behind shelves
and in dark places. This seems to work well, and my bindery is on a
busy street and between a mexican restaurant and florist, not the
most desirable neighbors for keeping pests out of the way. Plus
regular vigorous vacuuming.
Just another idea.
