The Oak Park Art League is seeking two professional staff members:
a full time Education and Gallery Coordinator and an Office

Position Description: Education and Gallery Coordinator
Full-time position (30-35 hours/week) reporting to the Education
Committee Chairperson and the HR/Staffing Committee
Responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of the school
operation including curriculum development, hiring new teachers,
teacher management and recognition, brochure development, printing
and mailing, reservations, marketing, and locker rentals. The
Coordinator is also responsible for reception at the Gallery, for
writing and distribution of the monthly newsletter, and writing and
distribution of press releases regarding classes and shows. The
Coordinator manages the overall calendar of the Art League Gallery
and classrooms. Assistance with fundraising events will be
required, including attendance at some evening/weekend events.
The Coordinator must have excellent verbal and written
communication skills, be able to work independently, and have
strong computer skills (Excel, Word required, Access and Publisher
are a plus). He/she must be able to work with Board Members via
email, phone and in person.
Position Description: Office Manager
OPAL Office Manager
Part-time position reporting to the Treasurer and HR/Staffing
Committee.
The Office Manager is responsible for bookkeeping, invoice
processing, updating and disseminating financial procedures, as
well as managing membership databases, membership practices, and
reporting. The Office Manager and Treasurer will create periodic
financial analyses and budgets.
The Office Manager must have excellent verbal and written
communication skills, be able to work independently, and have
strong computer skills (Quickbooks and Access are a plus).
The Office Manager will work closely with the Treasurer via email,
and telephone, as well as in person, and must be able to
communicate clearly via all media.
