For Sonja:
The Wikipedia needs more articles about bookbinding methods and
knowledge, not about artists. (Generally artists will get deleted unless
they are quite notable.)

We need a page about [[Coptic binding]] and need to expand [[secret
Belgian binding]] and stuff like that.

I can't believe you made this statement!!!!
Wiki is a collaborative thing, as is all information. Certainly  
information about artists is as important as information about a  
specific binding. In fact, isn't most all information important in  
some way or another???
If you feel the wiki needs more information in some specific manner,  
perhaps you would want to contribute??  Certainly any one of us could  
post it there.
