[BKARTS] New Web Feature for K-12 Teachers from SFCB
The San Francisco Center for the Book is pleased to introduce Teacher
Features, a new blog that's part of the Youth Programs pages of the
SFCB web site.
Teacher Features is a place where SFCB bookmaking instructors can
think "on screen" about kids and books, arts, curriculum, our
experiences, challenges and brainstorms, and where classroom teachers
can join the conversation. Librarians, principals, reading
specialists, arts educators and parents are welcome, too.
Running this blog is also our way of continuing that special
atmosphere--of sharing and learning, excitement and discovery,
artistry and fun--we all enjoy whenever we teach kids or teachers to
make a book.
You can link to Teacher Features from the SFCB home page
www.sfcb.org, from the main Youth Programs page www.sfcb.org/php/
yp.php, or by clicking here.
We hope you enjoy reading the posts on Teacher Features and that
you'll consider forwarding this email to friends and colleagues who
are teachers or librarians. Explore the entries in Teacher Features'
many different Categories. Click on upcoming months in the Calendar
and see what happens. And please, talk back to us, and to each other,
via the Comments feature.
If you would like to be included in periodic email notices about
what's new at Teacher Features, please reply off-list to
