Titration

Does anyone know of (or better yet have) a standard
procedure for calculating alkaline reserve in paper?  I have
Kelly's titration procedure (in "Practical Aspects of
Deacidification") but it is skeletal and informal and I
wonder if there is a relevant Tappi or ANSI standard.  The
Abbey mentioned a GPO publication that gave a std proc; does
anyone have a copy?  (btw: I'm after this because we are
about to test a pile of material treated by the ICI
ammonia/EtOH process and I'd like to get some idea of how
far off-standard we are).
