Deferred binding of paperbacks

In reply to the query about binding all paperbacks at Colorado, we, at
Oberlin, have been putting reinforced plastic covers on many paperbacks
(Kapco, Kent, Ohio) for about 5 years and have been very pleased with
the results.  The plastic covers do not alter the bookblock so if they
should need binding eventually, it can be done easily.  It is an
inexpensive, student labor type of job to affix the plastic covers.
