Restoration standards

In reference to Harvey L. Sharrer's request for information on
restoration techniques for manuscripts (in DistList.743), a good current
resource is the Paper Conservator, Volume 16 1992, a journal of the
Institute of Paper Conservation.  Volume 16 is devoted to the
conservation of vellum and parchment.  Backs issues are obtainable from
The Secretary, the Institute of Paper Conservation, Leigh Lodge, Leigh,
Worcestershire, WR6 5LB, England.
