Stereo viewer

We have in our collection a Column Stereo Viewer, French, c.1860. This
machine holds over 150 glass plate or paper stereo photographs which
rotate on a metal chain mechanism with each image held in place by a
loop spring.  We are looking for someone who has experience with these
types of machines to clean and repair the mechanism. I appreciate any
information,
