Acetate recordings

Does anyone have experience with the restoration, conservation, and
care of green acetate recorded disks from Soundscriber dictation
machines which were popular circa 1950?  I am also looking for
documentation, manuals, and schematics for Soundscriber equipment
for an audio restoration project.
