Digital microfilming

Does anyone know of a microfilming camera that, digitally enhances
the image prior to filming.  For example, sharpening features that
have been dulled over time and bringing out details.  I also
understand that such enhancement can be done simply with various
filters.  Any reference to such a microfilming camera or to sources
on such cameras would be appreciated.
