Waterlogged wood

I would like to ask anyone who has tried to reverse conservation
treatments of wet archaeological wood (e.g. PEG, sucrose, colophon,
silicon, freeze-drying, etc.) if he could inform me of the specific
steps and procedures he followed in order to achieve the
reversibility.
