I reply to the list beacuse it's easier than writing a half doxen
letters ...
I have never particularly cared for my given name or any of the
diminutives it inspires, so I choose to live my ambiguous intials.
It does result in many letters beginning dear MR. Gordon, but I just
feel it is part of my mytique.
(Okay, try Mystique!)
I will under great duress, answer to Su. People seem to have a real
problem with names that are intials
