Does anyone know of a way to remove crayon marks from the
pages of a book? I am a collector of modern first printings and
have found some real treasures at a local thrift store, but the
personnel have the irritating habit of writing their prices in
crayon (red, black).... Nothing I have tried will get it all
off.... Or, should I just leave them as modern "marks of
provenance"? Would appreciate any help....
