Peter Graham is at Midwinter and will provide a technically satisfying
answer about bouncebacks, I'm sure, when he returns to his terminal.
Meanwhile, not to worry. Exlibris subscribers will get an occasional
bounceback of a message they've just sent to the net if there is
anyone on the list whose email address in Exlibris's files is
incorrect. Incorrect Exlibris addresses happen for one of several
reasons: (1) the subscriber's email address has changed, and the s.
doesn't tell Exlibris about the change; (2) the subscriber, usually
very new to the email game, doesn't in fact know his/her own email
address, though he/she thinks he/she does, and gives Exlibris an
incorrect one, with a bounceback result.
Exlibris Control Central eventually deals with bulletin board
bouncebacks. Individual subscribers need take no action except with
their delete key.
