This theft report comes from the Archivists bulletin board:
On February 2, 1992, between 9-11:30 a.m., a leatherbound diary, approximately
6-3" and 1/2" thick was removed from the Main Exhibit Area of the Visitor
Center, Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, Crow Agency, Montana.
The diary was the personal property of Lt. McIntosh and carried during the
actural battle. A bullet hole in the diary is a prominent feature. Contact
the
National Park Service, FBI or Bureau of Indian Affairs if you have knowledge
of the whereabouts of this artifact.
