An afterthought, Shirley. When I was "little", used to do marbling, with
oil-based paints. And cheap, brown paper. (Made our own covers for school
books). Doubtless one can use all sorts of media. Oil wld not do with
certain papers, and water-based paints wouldnt fix onto others...
