WHOA!!  PUHLEEZE!!

My crack about the "dinosaurs" was in a message about DistList, which I do
think is something of an electronic oddity.  As I pointed out in a previous
message, it is heavily monitored, appears irregularly, and is not even
available, as now, when its moderator is on vacation.  Most unlike the other
lists I subscribe to.  Because it is obviously a very serious list, I'm not
even sure it would have accepted so simple a question about so simple a map
repair for posting.  The way DistList is set up and run is neither here nor
there, I suppose.  I just though the suggestion that the map repair question
more properly belonged on that list instead of Ex-Libris was wrong.  I thought
it was a perfectly good Ex-Libris question.  Judging from the answers that
were posted to it giving advice on the repair, others must not have thought
it unworthy their notice.  My message was not intended to insult anyone.
