Fascinating! I didn't know ExLibris was a means of communication for
professional librarians. I've been a subscriber (and occasional
contributor) for a good deal longer than a week, and as an academic
concerned with bibliography and manuscript history I've learned a
great deal. The only period I have felt really fed up with this list
(which I am always praising to others as a model of its kind) has been
during the eruptions of the last two weeks. First, the doodling over
Thanksgiving weekened (which is what it was up here, folks), and now
this ridiculous controversy. Let's get back to business.
