apologies to the list

I suppose I only risk upsetting people more by apologizing for my blunder
in sending a personal message (twice now) to the list.  I regularly
laugh and curse at the baffoons who make this mistake, secretly fearing,
though, that as often as it happens it will happen to me sooner or later.
Now it has.  And it probably will again.  I should know better, but....
Anyway, thanks to all those who have responded to me (privately) about
my gaff.  And for those who have not yet taken the opportunity to correct
my wrong, I can assure you I have had the error of my way made exceedingly
plain to me.
