French Breviary help

We have in our library a fifteenth-century French Breviary that was given to
us in 1953. It is written in Medieval Latin during the time of the Humanist
Popes. Along with the Latin text we find illuminations which reinforce the
subject matter. It is a volume bound in leather and is hand written in gold
ink on vellum. Can any one of you give us some help on how we should handle
and process this volume? One question that is being asked is should this
volume be handled and processed as a monograph or a manuscript? We do not
have a trained rare books librarian or cataloger and can use all the help and
suggestions we can get. Any help you give will be greatly appreciated.

Also, are there other discussion groups you would suggest that this query be
sent to?
