NUCMC online

Yesterday I forwarded a message that was a query about NUCMC being online.

It filtered through LC to Tom Gonzales (202) 707-7954 who thought it was from
me and called me this morning.  I saidI would forward the gist of his
response to ExLibris.

Putting NUCMC online was a recommendation of a Task Group at LC last summer
some time.  It is still being mooted at LC and they are giving it thought,
but there are as yet no formal proposals.   It would involve some relations
with the bib. utilities (to whom no contacts have been forwarded on this) and
making the data base available on Marvel.
