Re: Undesirables

Inasmuch as Mr. Holland is addressing an important issue, and for what
benefit may result from my distributing this reply to the list, I
respond to Mr. H's query, in which he said:

>. . . but as far as I know, the only way to search EXLIBRIS's archives
>is by date (month and year).

The following set of commands, sent to <listserv@rutvm1.rutgers.edu>,
will achieve the desired search:

// job echo=no
database search dd=rules
//rules dd *
search . . . in exlibris
index
print

Replace the dots of elision with a keyword string. The size of the
results will of course depend on the keyword string, "convict"
producing fewer results than, say, "Everett". You may add a date
limiter at the end of the "search . . ." command line, in the style
"since 94/01/01". You may send more than one "search . . ." command
line.
