We will begin the Rare Book School acceptance process this weekend,
with letters going out to applicants next week. If you are thinking of
applying to a RBS course and want to be in the first cut of applicants,
please get your application in to us ASAP, preferably by fax or FedEx, by the
end of the day on Friday, 29 April.
Many RBS courses will have spaces available for the next several
weeks, and some never entirely sell out at all; but a number (eg Sue
Allen, Schreyer/VanWingen, Belanger Illn I, Traister I, Pickwoad,
Taraba, Seaman Etext, and Derolez Paleography) have already received
more applications than there are places, and for these courses it's
important to be in the first cut.
Earlier this week, the number of requests for RBS 1994 expanded course
descriptions/application forms overtook the entire number of such
requests received last year (ie requests received by 1 July
1993).
