Re: Snippy Bitch Gets Caught

There he goes again, that silly buffoon Nicholson Baker prodes us catalog
killers, aka librarians. Mr. Baker was dead wrong about card catalogs to
begin with and now proceeds to lecture us about our iniquities in
protecting the collections of libraries. However, it seems that the issue
here is why Ohio University and the other high-tuition paying students
should tolerate having the collections which they pay to use destroyed.
What is Ohio U. doing about this flagrant air-head spoiled brat
"journalist" in their midst? Are they going to suspend her for the
semester or better yet throw her out of the university? If they are not
disciplining her, why not? Is this another example of "free speech" as
interpreted by universities today? Is it not rather a case of petty
theft, plain and simple. Should librarians and others be
writing to the trustees/president of Ohio U. to protest this flagrant
example of the destruction of library materials? I think they should.
Does anyone have the name, address etc. of the appropriate person for
registering a protest?
