The Judah Magnes Museum, 2911 Russell St., Berkeley, CA 94705) reports
that the following book is missing from their collection:
Rosh Amanah by Isaac ben Judah Abrabanel. Constantinople: David and Samuel
ibn Nahmias, 1505. 20 p., 27cm, Hebrew text. Bound in modern brown leather
library binding, title stamped in gold on the spine.
Quoting from their fax: "A reward of $500 is offered for information
leading to the return of a rare book missing from the library collection
of the Judah L. Magnes Museum. Recovery is our objective: costs will be
reiumbursed if present holders can prove book was purchased in good
faith."
