Charles Anthon, Classical Scholar

I have compiled a comprehensive bibliography of the published works of
Charles Anthon (1797-1867), first Jay Professor of Greek and Latin at
Columbia College (now Columbia University). Additionally, I have read and
included all his unpublished papers and correspondence which is known to
me.

Some papers and scattered bits of Anthon's correspondence are found at the
Butler and Low Libraries at Columbia, the Pierpont Morgan Library, and at
the Harry Ransom Center in Austin.

If you know of the existence of additional papers or correspondence (either
to or from Anthon), I would deeply appreciate notification. Please respond
off list.
