The AP story I have before me names him as Daniel Spiegelman and states that
"U.S. Justice Department spokesman Carl Stern says Spiegelman is a convicted
felon who was being extradited to face federal charges of illegal weapons
possession -- but that the charges were unrelated to the Oklahoma City
bombing." ... "Stern said that the weapons that form the basis for the
extradition request were discovered by police during a search of the suspect's
New York City apartment while investigating the theft of rare manuscripts
from Columbia University."
The article includes no further information about the manuscript theft or
Spiegelman's connection with it.
