Hi
Can anyone tell me any information about an Australian mystery writer of
the 19th century called Mary Fortune? I only tracked down one item in OCLC,
nothing in Japan. Someone at my institution is trying to find any extant
papers, works, ms, etc. by or about this woman. She was born in Ireland
around 1833 and moved to Australia in 1855. Her given name was Mary Helena
Wilson and she later wrote under the pseudonyms Waif Wander and W.W. for
the _Australian Journal_ as well as under the name Mary Fortune. Any
assistance would be appreciated.
