This is both very embarrassing (for me) and funny (for the list) ...
Hmmm... The record below was contributed by the originator of the message,
.. me.... Since the time I created this record, I have added a cautious
question mark after Lancaster, and a note to the effect that more research
would be needed to fully ascertain the place of publication. So maybe the
thread should be continued a bit further... (I also corrected a couple of
typos... 'offentlich' and 'und einem Gebet-Buchlein' ).
My query still stands: where on earth is Lynchester (San Diego)?
