Ushikubo, D.J.R. Life of Koyetsu. Kyoto: np, 1926. Koyetsu, a 16th century
artist, was skilled in lacquer-work, pottery, calligraphy, wood carving and
many other arts. The book, 6" x 9", is covered in silk, w/a design
reproduced from a Koyetsu painting and is bound after an ancient native
style. 64pp; 13 b&w illus. The book is slightly warped from exposure to
dampness. However, there is only one very faint dampstain or the rear
pastedown. $45
