Job posting: Library Director, special library

any duplication. 

Library Director

Director sought for the Center for Inquiry Libraries, three new special
libraries which share one facility adjacent to the North campus of the
State University of New York at Buffalo. 

Collection topics: atheism and humanism, scientific investigation of the
paranormal, and American philosophical naturalism. 15,000 volumes
increasing to 50,000 shortly.

Responsibilities include: acqusitions, cataloging (On OCLC, using AACR2R,
LCSH, and LCC), and interlibrary loan; also, implementing dial-up access
to the libraries' OPAC (Brodart Precision One), and policies for scholarly
use of the collections on-site. 

Bibliographic familiarity with literature in philosophy, atheism,
humanism, spiritualism, and/or science strongly helpful. Compensation
