BIBLIOFIND & THE CLIQUE JOIN FORCES
Specialist Publisher Appointed Bibliofind's
Sole UK Marketing Representative
________________________

Bibliofind, the Internet's premier marketplace of old, used
and rare books for sale, has appointed The Clique, of York,
England, as its sole marketing representative in the UK.
Founded over a century ago in 1890, The Clique is the
world's longest-established specialist publisher of
information for the old, rare and collected book trade.

"The Clique operates at the very heart of the British
antiquarian and used-book business", says Michael Selzer,
Bibliofind's President, "and we believe that their assistance
in developing Bibliofind's customer base in the UK is going
to prove extraordinarily valuable".

British booksellers, says Michael Cole, The Clique's Editor,
are only just starting to discover the Internet's great
potential for the book business. "We have wide-ranging
plans to help British booksellers establish themselves as
major players on the Internet", says Cole, "and our
alliance with Bibliofind is an important part of our strategy".

Adds Cole: "Bibliofind does a quite superb job of marrying
the needs of booksellers to modern technology, and we are
proud of our association with it".

Significantly, Bibliofind recently identified its 500th. subscriber
as a British bookseller. "We expect that British booksellers
are going to be coming on-line with the same enthusiasm, and
success, that marked the arrival of their American
counterparts on the WorldWideWeb in 1996", says Bibliofind's
Selzer. "Our projection is that by 1998 or 1999 they will be a
major presence on the Web".
