Rare Books Associations in D.C. area?

Hello, my name is Rebecca Butz and I am the cultural affairs intern at the Canadian Embassy. I am looking for interested rare books/manuscripts/maps associations in the Washington DC area who might be interested in an exhibit opening up here at the embassy. The exhibit which opens on June 12th and runs through July 25th is entitled "From John Cabot to Samuel Hearn," and consists of early printed travel narratives chronicaling the efforts of French and English explorers on land and sea. The books exhibited are illustrated with original maps and engravings and are a part of the extensive Rare Book Collection of the National Library of Canada.
I am hoping that someone will be able to send me info. on groups in this area so that I can contact them and put together a guest list of people who will be interested in this exciting exhibit. Thank you in advance for any info you might be able to give me. -Rebecca Butz
