Dear Ex-Librians,
I'm working on a hebrew work by Jacobo Abendana published in
Amsterdam in 1660. On the titlepage it reads:
Amstelaedami (=Amsterdam)
Anno a Mundo condito, 5421
Can anyone explain this ? Is the year maybe a hebrew notation ?
And if so, how do I calculate this date ??
Thanks,
Cor Knops.
