See my sketch of Geminus in *Mapmakers of the Sixteenth Century and Their
Maps* (Chicago: Speculum Orbis Press for the Newberry Library, 1993), pp.
250-54.
I think I looked at most of the relevant literature. I don't think there's
a Gemma Frisius relationship, but I DO think it likely that Geminus lived
with Vesalius in Louvain, something I haven't seen anyone else pick up on.
