including an indigenous map of the Hawaiian Islands, 1837; a Corronelli
globe gore showing the Straits of Magellan; a Jansson map of the Arctic; a
fine Bellin chart of the northeast coast of America; and a Mortier map of
the Pacific showing California as an island.
