The Greek Patriarchiate of Jerusalem brought an action in Federal Court in
Manhattan against Christie's New York on October 28 in an attempt to stop the
auction of the Archimedes Palimpsest. The court found in favor of Christie's,
and the sale is authorized to take place as scheduled at 2 pm Eastern Standard
Time on Thursday October 29.
