I need examples of "donor's conditions" clauses -- specifically
any legal language which reserves "ownership" to the donor --
used for donations to libraries, archives, and museums.
I am working with someone who wants to donate a valuable
collection to an institution, "giving" it to the institution in
every respect save ultimate "ownership". At some point in the
future if he wants some part of his material out of otherwise -
restricted - access storage he wants to be able to get it, also
he wants to continue to "own" it for grant - seeking purposes.
Examples of such clauses which people here might tell me about or
send me -- confidential and / or names changed of course -- would
be much appreciated.
