According to the Encyclopaedia Judaica, v. 8 (cols. 1250-51), the Dalin
was one of the ships bringing Jews to Israel illegally. It successfully
landed in
Israel in August, 1945. In the summer of 1947, the Pan York and Pan
Crescent also
brought Jews from eastern Europe to Israel. I hope this answers your
