Some months ago a question came up on this list about the marketing
practices of Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.
I responded honestly, as a publisher (The Caber Press) and noticed
that my orders from Amazon.com and B & N came to an end.
Recently, I queried a web page (MXbookfinder.com) about a couple of
books I've edited/published.
Both of them (Lotta Rahme's, _Leather: preparation and tanning by
traditional methods_, & John Quin's, _Urushi_) came up with me as
the author; when I clicked on the link and went to both Amazon.com
and Barnes & Noble, the complete (and correct) information was there.
Last year, such a request gave the correct author information.
Just another data point.
Disclaimer: I do not own stock in either Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble.
