Bang! Bang! We are about to publish our catalogue 724 The Atomic Age:
from Hiroshima and Nagasaki to Star Wars. This catalogue of 1809 titles
(all for sale separately) is probably the largest and most important
listing of books and pamphlets on the subject that has ever been issued.
Subjects covered include the Manhattan Project, development of the atom
bomb at Los Alamos, dropping the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki,
the after affects of the bombing, the [British] Campaign for Nuclear
Disarmament and other anti-bomb movements, the hydrogen and neutron
bombs, the Star Wars programme, the social, medical, scientific and
moral issues of the development of nuclear weapons.
Ask for you copy now together with your snail mail address. We can
provide an electronic copy of the catalogue - but the hard copy is
prettier and more user friendly. Bang! Bang? The name we used for our
working files and also the name of a course offered by Dan Traister at
the University of Pennsylvania about The Manhattan Project. Thank you
Dan!
